Realistic, Life-size, Waterfowl Woodcarvings
These magnificent, heirloom-quality, decorative wooden ducks are truly works of art. Each duck is hand-carved from basswood, tupelo, or sugar pine wood, with incredible feathering detail and amazingly realistic painting. The artist captures not only the actual colors and poses of waterfowl, but also the personalities and expressions that make you think they are alive. No two are alike--yours will be unique and individually created works of art. Most of these shown in our Gallery have won numerous ribbons and awards in wood-carving competitions.
Available by Commission
Custom carvings are done on a commission basis (see sample of contract), and, due to the complexity of carving, woodburning, and painting, take three to four months to complete. Various poses are available in addition to those shown. Each commission is created individually according to your specifications. A non-refundable, one-third deposit is required at the time of commission, and will be deducted from the total cost.
